Ruptured Quadder’s Worst Nightmare

When I was doing Cross Fit a few years ago, I saw several individuals doing an exercise that instantly made me cringe. The exercise is called a free standing one legged squat or Pistol. Having gone through a few quad tears I pretty much new there is no way I could or would want to attempt this exercise.

Now don’t get me wrong. I am sure this is a great exercise and can be an excellent supplement to your leg training. But being a ‘quadder’ I’m not sure its for me. Any fellow quadder’s out there try this exercise?
